What You'll Do/Need

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President Development - Cleveland the Development Intern will support multiple projects under Bedrock’s Development umbrella.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Support Vice President with development projects including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and summary presentation development.
  • Work with multiple teams across Bedrock (Construction, Architecture, Finance, etc.) to compile information, prepare monthly reports, conduct research, prepare presentations, draft memos, and establish schedules.
  • Independently complete economic/market analyses to guide program and phasing decisions, including cost-benefit analysis, demographic, and other market research.
  • Evaluate entitlement requirements with respect to zoning, historic designation, or other policies.
  • Develop project plans to track project schedules and key milestones
  • Create userfriendly development product standards and guidelines reference tools
  • Participate and support project meetings within Bedrock, with consultants, and/or with external stakeholders.
  • Participate in Owner, Architect and Construction/Contractor (OAC) meetings in select projects


Position Requirements:

  • Business, urban planning, engineering, or architecture undergraduate degree
  • 1 - 4 years of real estate development, real estate investment, real estate consulting, construction, architecture, engineering or relevant project management experience
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Economic mindset
  • Superior leadership and collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, knowledge of InDesign is a plus
  • General administrative skills
