What You'll Do/Need

Position Summary:

Our company seeks a dynamic, qualified Controls Engineer to professionally respond to controls, integration and building systems service requests. We need an experienced professional who can effectively and efficiently operate/maintain integration systems, electrical and mechanical systems as assigned.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, programming, diagnostics, database development, graphic development and administration on building automation systems and integration interface.
  • Operate and maintain HVAC and MEP equipment as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Perform services as it relates to HVAC, electrical automation, DDC control logic and strategy, pneumatic and relay logic controls, LAN and data integrity.
  • Interface with Controls contract service providers.
  • Ensure optimum response and action time to the maintenance incurred by service requests.
  • Assist in the controls integration training and development of all engineers and team members.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Tridium System and Niagara framework knowledge required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of medium- and low-voltage equipment and the ability to independently troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical control devices.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of DDC-based automation, integration systems, IT, networking systems, HVAC-R equipment, operation, service and repair.
  • Ability to use basic measuring and recording equipment such as temperature indicators, pressure gauges and digital multimeters
  • Any license required by local, state or national municipalities;
  • Minimum five years’ experience in DDC-based controls environment installation, diagnostics, programming, database development, graphic development and LAN administration.
