What You'll Do/Need

Position Responsibilities:

  • Extensive financial modeling and analyses in support of acquisition, disposition, ongoing operational processes and related activities
  • Coordinate with Acquisition, Accounting, Assessment Management, Corporate Finance, Tax, Accounting, Design and Construction, and other internal departments to obtain data relevant to analysis and modeling functions
  • Prepare Investment Recommendations including written description, quantitative and qualitative analyses, and presentations for Vice President of Hospitality and Executive Leadership Team
  • Evaluate brand opportunities within current portfolio and for prospective acquisitions
  • Analyze and summarize various contracts/agreements including Ground Leases, Management Contracts, Franchise Agreements, License Agreements and Loan Agreements
  • Maintain and update departmental databases and prepare analyses and reports of internal/external data
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree; a hospitality business concentration is preferred
  • 2 years of financial modeling and quantitative analysis experience in the hospitality industry for a commercial real estate or large hospitality brand is preferred
  • Knowledge of finance as well as return on investment principles
  • Experience in other aspects of lodging and/or real estate finance
  • Interest and passion for urban planning and transforming industrial-age cities
  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize business data and develop innovative and holistic business solutions that are forward thinking and growth oriented
  • Relates well to others, builds rapport, and effective relationships, uses tact, can diffuse high-tension situations. Can also be tough minded in a constructive way. Can get things done within the formal and informal corporate structure(s)
  • Ability to effectively partner in the development and execution of business strategies
  • Uses strong analytical capabilities and a fact-based approach to develop effective solutions to business issues
