What You'll Do/Need

 

Job Summary

A Project Manager will organize, lead, coordinate and document various Bedrock projects related to the company’s vision and priorities. This person will coordinate internal and external resources necessary to effectively manage multiple projects identified as critical to the success of Bedrock. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manages critical projects related to Bedrock
  • Schedules, leads and documents meetings to ensure projects are on target and completed in a timely manner
  • Develops project tracking logs and executive status reports as needed for each identified project
  • Coordinates with appropriate resources from various teams within Bedrock, the family of companies, as well as external stakeholders and partners (as applicable)
  • Communicates routinely with Director of Project Management on project status and updates pertaining to issues related to project completion
  • Proactively initiates, develops and maintains effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders on projects
  • Identifies and documents areas of opportunity that require attention as a result of project management activities
  • Establishes realistic timeframes for project completion
  • Utilizes proactive management skills to avoid project delays
  • Organizes and effectively communicates with all resources involved in the projects
  • Maintains a database of information related to projects managed for Bedrock
  • Investigates and analyzes potential initiatives as identified by the Project Manager and/or as assigned by Director of Project Management or other leadership
  • Recommends actions to improve internal project management activities
  • Completes After Action Reviews
  • Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with Bedrock’s policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple high level projects to successful completion
  • Ability to create simple project plans, identify necessary resources and manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, communications, interpersonal and documentation skills
  • Client-oriented (internal and external)
  • Flexibility during times of change
  • Ability to develop an effective project management system with executive status reporting for Bedrock
  • Ability to make sound and reasonable decisions
  • Perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under time-sensitive deadlines
  • Proficient use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other modes of technology
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal instructions and supervision at times
  • Demonstrate integrity, ingenuity and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks
  • Respectful, good attitude and a desire to provide a meaningful contribution to the team on a daily basis

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in project management activities in a fast paced environment
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
