What You'll Do/Need

The Team

The Bedrock Transportation Parking Logistics (TPL) team is responsible for fulfilling and overseeing all of the parking and transportation needs for Bedrock tenants. The TPL team specializes in three areas; Client Experience, Transportation, and Logistics.  Our Client Experience Ambassadors (CEAs) are front line defenders for the team. This group is staffed 24/365, averaging 500+ parking intercom calls per day. The Transportation team is responsible for moving approximately 4,000 riders per day and overseeing a complex shuttle network that connects our parking facilities to our buildings.  The Logistics team is responsible for managing approximately 22,000 parking spaces among 30 properties.  We strive to maximize our assets by increasing utilization where possible, while providing parking to not only our tenants but other monthly and daily parkers outside of our portfolio.

 

Job Summary

The Client Experience Ambassador is responsible for operating the parking intercom system in all parking garages owned by Bedrock Detroit and managed by parking vendor. The main goal of the Client Experience Ambassador is creating a positive and exceptional experience for all individuals parking and visiting our City.

 

Essential Functions

  • Answer and address all parking intercom calls from Bedrock-owned parking garages
  • Use verification software to verify team members and tenants’ employment status and parking assignments upon entrance/exit
  • Create and maintain an updated log of all intercom activity daily
  • Communicate all operational or maintenance-related issues to both Team Member’s and Tenants
  • Coordinate with appropriate Garage Manager to address and rectify parking-related issues
  • Fulfill validation and badge requests
  • Perform basic access control functions
  • Assist with badging initiatives
  • Work with the Security Command Center on a daily basis to ensure communication is streamlined between Team Members and Tenants
  • Monitor garage cameras (garage surveillance)
  • Parking operations support

 

Requirements

  • Ability to work a rotating shift, including midnights, weekends and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills are vital
  • Great problem-solving, grammar and spelling skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess self-motivation and reliability
  • Ability to maintain patience and positive attitude during stressful situations
  • Working knowledge of general computer software, including the Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
