Human Resources/Recruiting Team

The Human Resources Team is responsible for workforce planning, hiring (recruiting and selection), training and developing, rewards and recognition, induction and orientation, motivation and engaging, conflict resolution, payroll and benefits management, community relations, and promoting tem member health and safety. The team develops and manages relationships in the workplace while helping reach organizational and individual goals. Reports To

Essential Functions

  • Act as an business partner to one or more business areas within the Company
  • Conduct team member discussions as related to work performance concerns, career development, etc.
  • Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, etc
  • Manage one or more special projects related to Human Resources
  • Overall comprehensive understanding of benefits, compensation, labor laws and regulations
  • Know and address learning and development needs within the business
  • Serve as confidential resource to business leaders on organization and team member issues
  • Ensure the business is staffed at levels appropriate for the optimal operation
  • Participate in budgeting as it relates to personnel costs
  • Ensure performance feedback and related compensation actions are part of the day-to-day operations
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Participate in developing team goals, objectives, and systems
  • Conduct new and refresher training on company policies and procedures
  • Support benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees
  • Handle exit interviews for assigned team members and further develops action planning
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Conduct team member investigations
  • Control unwanted team member attrition and develop retention plans
  • Manage special projects and additional initiatives as necessary

Job Qualifications

  • Strong content knowledge in all areas of Human Resources
  • Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience in a fast moving, high-growth, non-bureaucratic environment
  • Superior business skills including the use of data to drive decisions
  • Five years of general business experience, preferably in real estate, property management or customer/client service
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Highly responsible with ability to meet deadlines with high sense of urgency
  • Ability to work well in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Operate with highest levels of transparency and trust
