What You'll Do/Need

Job Summary

This position has full responsibility for Bedrock and TBD social media. The Social Media Manager promotes Bedrock and Detroit through all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.


Essential Functions

  • Advance social media platforms
  • Own Bedrock and TBD’s social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, etc.
  • Design optimal procedures and policies for how/what/when/where/why to promote Bedrock and TBD events and announcements
  • Constantly research new ways to reach out to the community, tenants and team members to promote Detroit and Bedrock
  • Manage viral marketing campaigns and integrate interactive media into the overall Business Strategy
  • Collaborate with various Bedrock and FOC teams
  • Understand strategic and specialty content


  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, including strategic and specialty content
  • A vast degree of creativity and latitude expected
  • Ability to anticipate tasks, prioritize, multitask and work well under pressure
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to represent Bedrock in the most professional and reputable manner, which includes living up to our vision and mission and the vision of the ISMs
  • Must be flexible and able to work evenings and weekends as needed
